Classical and restorative poses are chosen according to your body-mind constitution, goals and needs. Specific alignment and hands on release techniques facilitate deep release of muscular tension and a healthy skeletal realignment. This form of yoga therapy is complimentary and similar to other hands-on mind-body techniques such as chiropractic work, therapeutic massage and Chinese acupuncture, but done through the lens of yoga - working on the physical and psycho-spirtual planes simultaneously. The experience is deeply nurturing, blissful, healing and transformational. Most clients continue with 1-2 weekly sessions for a period of time and then taper down to occasional sessions, while maintaining in-between with group classes and home practice. Yoga Therapy is great for beginners or experienced students who want to explore more opening. One yoga therapy session opens your body 6-10 times as much as one yoga class. I am presently available for both online one on one yoga sessions as well as in person hands on Yoga Therapy sessions.
